March 29 第一次看牙主要是右边上下两颗智齿这两年来时不时地疼几下，就去看牙了。还好俺没蛀牙，而且照片看上去一颗一颗的排得很整齐，偷偷乐一下。所以主要是cleaning牙垢这次，下次deep cleaning希望不要太疼，这样就能一次性把智齿也拔了。 March 25 人，真不容易周四周五在纽约看学校，今天陪着猪头同学又去了一趟Metropolitan，晚上回来终于是难得的清闲了，结果收到这学期一门课老师一封炸弹性的email，猪头帮我一起忙了半天终于搞定了，希望不会再给我找麻烦（老天保佑吧）。突然觉得人在江湖飘，大事小事，千千万万都要谨慎小心，稍一疏忽就可能铸成大错了，尤其碰上比较爱找碴的人。于是想起前一段时间mitbbs上面的一片帖子说女生要读phd就是bt什么的，虽然不苟同吧，但是也不能说完全是错。
还有今天在flushing剪完头发回来的路上，猪头盯着我看了半天然后说出一句让我特震惊的话：“仔细看你，长得还挺丑的”。之前还说我是“大饼脸”“笑起来像黄鼠狼”。虽然我也常说他胖，没有腰，还有笨，但这些不是事实就是带有可爱的含义。
搞得晚上三点还是睡不着。唉，希望不要想王袭凤一样最后四面楚歌，到头来万事皆空。 March 21 来点儿成功学教育——如何提升自我地位Title: Helping One's Way to the Top: Self-Monitors Achieve Status by Helping Others and Knowing Who Helps Whom Source: JPSP, 2006 Abstract: The authors argue that high self-monitors may be more sensitive to the status implications of social exchange and more effective in managing their exchange relations to elicit conferrals of status than low self-monitors. In a series of studies, they found that high self-monitors were more accurate in perceiving the status dynamics involved both in a set of fictitious exchange relations and in real relationships involving other members of their social group. Further, high self-monitors elevated their social status among their peers by establishing a reputation as a generous exchange partner. Specifically, they were more likely than low self-monitors to be sought out for help and to refrain from asking others for help. 可能吧，虽然有人说性格决定命运，但是命运还是挺难预测的 March 19 Vancouver 两天猪头和俺最大的感触是：NOT cost-efficient at all!
上周花了一个上午拿到加拿大签证，使馆的工作效率啊，不说啥了
主要去拜访老爸在那儿的一个生意伙伴+朋友，呵呵，个中关系不便细说，只要uncle uncle得叫就好了
去了著名的Capilano suspension bridge，最初知道这个桥还是因为一个著名的心理学实验（about sexual attraction
 ）就是在这儿做的，很有意思，参见Dutton & Aron (1974, JPSP)。都怪俺当时脑袋滑丝相机没电，照片回头再贴。还记得有一张摄影作品是360度拍这个桥的，就是这会儿找不到了。也是这张照片导致我对吊桥的期望有些过高了然后去看了grouse mountain（天气不好没坐成缆车真遗憾啊）下面一个大坝和一个政府修建的帮助salmon hatch的地方
然后去吃了king crab（特恐怖），lobster等等海鲜
晚上在旅馆里面给学生计算final grade
今天上午去Stanley park（啥都没有）和UBC（啥都没有），然后去叙香园又吃了一顿螃蟹（见识了华人聚餐大场面）
然后回Seattle，在custom长长的车队里面等了两个小时，我一直唠叨快把猪头烦死了
过了custom换司机，俺第一次上I5一直开回家了，到家快累死了，睡了两觉
晚上终于把学生的grade算完了
开始洗衣服……
March 17 snoqualmie本season最后一次滑雪跟猪头一起去的。这家伙一开始还一脸郁闷跟要去上刑似的，后来熟练多了终于开始多云转晴了
可惜Gallery没开，所以在绿道上滑了个够
冬天要办一个seasonal pass，买一套装备。可惜纽约的雪场凑合的就得开好几个钟头，哪里像西雅图一个小时就到了，555。可惜了过去的两年没好好利用这个资源 March 13 怎么出去玩也这么麻烦1. 签证去Vancouver
2. 惦记着本周滑雪把最后一次票用掉
3. 赶紧定campsite的票
4. 西雅图-->LA
5. LA回国(东京周末)和回来的机票
哇哇，我的第二个Final才写了四分之一（就写不动了），学生的分数还有40%没给，还打算下周看完几个老师的paper
突然觉得西雅图怎么这么偏啊，去个哪儿都得兴师动众的 March 09 风水终于转到我这儿了除了上周的大好消息，还有猪头明天就来慰问我之外……，呵呵
年初提交的两篇paper,都被accepted for presentation at AOM Conference, Yeah!

看完这个电影最深刻的就是两样东西：开枪砰得一声，和"f***"，档次啊！
不过Jack Nicoleson果然姜还是老得辣啊，还有Daimon一如既往的帅，而且这种角色最适合他了 March 01 Grading最近连着几天批改学生的essay，快郁闷死了。每人两篇，每篇3000字，而且没有什么正确答案
昨天改完一篇发给他们，立马有个老美女生过来跟我complain，而且态度极其让人不能接受。用老公的话说，有些美国人就是又笨又蠢还自大的要死。不过还是没能安慰我气愤的心情，发了一封email把她教训了一顿，哼！
今天又改了一晚上的essay，写评语写多了突然发现我的英语字已经快成花体了，比已经漂亮潇洒多了，呵呵。很有些自我陶醉阿，一下心情就变好多，从suffer变成enjoy了 |
